INTRODUCTION TO SCHEDULING SOFTWARE



COURSE DESCRIPTION:     Project Management methodology allows large complex projects to be undertaken.   Proper scheduling and tracking of the tasks is a key function to ensure the Project's success.   Utilizing the power of Microsoft © Project software makes this practical.   Hands-on exercises, in a PC lab setting, using the participants own Project on the second day is the technique employed.   A workbook for the exercises is included.



LEARNING OUTCOMES:        As a result of this learning opportunity participants will:

          Develop essential skills required to utilize Microsoft Project to plan and track Projects
          Practice charting using GANTT charts
          Produce reports that show cost, timing and resource workload
          Optimize your project schedule
