READING/INTERPRETING MICROSOFT PROJECT SCHEDULES


COURSE DESCRIPTION:     The Project Management methodology allows project teams to successfully manage large complex projects.   A key to the successful completion of a Project is the planning and scheduling of the tasks and resources.   This requires a thorough knowledge of scheduling techniques and a powerful software tool.   Utilizing the features of Microsoft Project software makes this possible.

This quick paced training program emphasizes the interpretation of MS Project Schedules in a PC lab setting, using generic and organization specific project schedules.   Session topics include: analyzing and optimizing the schedule, tracking resource allocation across several projects, reviewing views and customized reports.   Software communication methods for reporting the project status to senior levels of the project team is an integral part of this training.
