PPO/BUSINESS CASE CRITIQUING TECHNIQUES


COURSE DESCRIPTION:     The art of authoring a succinct document which meets the requirements of the business case summary checklist is an essential project management skill.   The effective presentation of a comprehensive Business Case at the Sponsor or Steering Committee levels is the one of the Project Manager, Business Director level deliverables.

This one-day training program examines the documentation requirements for a Business Case and the appropriate presentation techniques at the Steering Committee level.

           Review: Stakeholder, Cost/Benefit, Options and Risk Assessment analysis
           Review the Business Case, Project Schedule and complete the Business Case Summary Checklist
           Review a draft Business Case document in a simulated Steering Committee meeting
